I have been coming to the wooden farmer for sometime now and, the consistency in the great tastes on the menu, even with changing menus, the friendly staff service and a great atmosphere for a fairly sized team outing, is the reason it's one of my favourite food joints to stop by. A day out in the Putaruru springs has to be complemented with a cold one and some salmon for sure at the farm!

We came here for lunch, just driving through. Food was quick and amazing. Server was very polite, cafe area was clean. Will definitely be back next time we travel through

Stopped and had a coffee with friends. Thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and date scones. Brunch was being served to other guests who seemed to enjoy their meal. Loved the interesting and unusual decor, especially the counter lights!

Highly recommend eating here. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was really delicious. Stopped here on a whim and I'm glad we did. My partner had the pork belly sliders, which were really good. I had ham on the bone sandwich which was really scrumptious. The fries were also tasty. I also had the cashew salad and it was amazing.
